Thank you Jesus for the United States of America and the Bill of Rights! Thank you Jesus for the history of legal advancement of civil rights in our nation! In place of slavery we have the 13th to 15th Amendments and the Civil Rights Act of 1964. In place of systematic misogyny we have the 19th Amendment!

 

Yet with passage of Roe v Wade and Doe v Bolton these advances in civil rights are rejected especially in the disproportionate abortion of African American children and of girls in sex selective abortions.

 

The legalized acceptance of the moral depravity of abortion, with its racist and misogynistic prejudices, has opened the door for the genocide of over 20 million black Americans and the rejection of even the concept of femininity further devaluing women as even the title of mother is demonized.

 

"God created man in his own image...male and female he created them" (Genesis 1:27). This Scripture shows us the path of how to recover what we have lost in the development of civil rights in our nation.

 

Let us pray for the pro-life generation to throw off the shackles of the violation of civil rights in our country! Dear Jesus, help us overturn Roe v. Wade and grant us a truly pro-life government free of racist and misogynistic laws.

 

As Christians have persevered under the oppression of leaders like Nero, Diocletian, Hitler and Stalin and ultimately expelled their hate by truth and love, let us likewise persevere under the oppression of government officials guilty of depraved indifference to the civil rights of every human being!
